The Women’s and Men’s Health Project (WMHP) provides a continuum of care for marginalized women, men, and adolescents infected with HIV/AIDS. Case managers seek out women, men, and adolescents in the community and offer them a variety of services such as HIV/AIDS testing, counseling, treatment, primary health care, mental health services, substance abuse treatment, and case management. The WMHP office is also located at 1470 Barnum Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. GBAPP is also the fiduciary, contractor, and lead agency for the Bridgeport Primary Care Consortium for Ryan White Title I funding. In this role, GBAPP subcontracts with 5 local health and social service agencies in Bridgeport to provide a seamless network of care to persons of all ages living with HIV/AIDS.

An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides comprehensive treatment for adults wishing to attain a substance free lifestyle. The program’s holistic approach to recovery incorporates mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of care. IOP is a cost effective alternative to residential treatment.
